Battle Hymn

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THE DANCE FLOOR…

OUR GOSPEL

Battle Hymn is a monthly Sunday night, house-music driven party. Created and produced by nightlife impresario Ladyfag, Battle Hymn revives the holy age of nightlife. When club owners cast us from Friday or Saturday night, we transformed Sunday into church.

OUR CHURCH

In 2016, Battle Hymn first congregated at Flash Factory, designed as an actual cathedral with stained glass windows, pews and all. Born again as Rumi, with A state-of-the-art sound, lights, lasers & LED screens makeover, it is still where faithful creatures of the night gather for hedonistic worship.

OUR CHOIR

Starting with resident DJs Honey Dijon and The Carry Nation, Eli Escobar joined to form the musical trifecta of our prayers. Since then, some of the saintly legends of house music have graced our altar: Todd Terry, Hex Hector, Tedd Patterson, Danny Krivit, Vicki Powell, JD Samson, Steve Travolta, The Martinez Brothers, David Morales, Justin Strauss, Mike Dunn, Quentin Harris, and many more.

OUR CONGREGATION

We have spread the gospel of Battle Hymn on the road, on the sea for our popular boat party, and outdoors under the heavenly Brooklyn sky. But wherever we gather our dearly beloved, Battle Hymn has brought to life a spirit, a family, a place to dress up, dress down, or get naked… It’s a place where house music is truly the answer, and dancing is never a question. It’s a place for you. It’s a place for everyone, always. It’s BATTLE HYMN…THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THE DANCE FLOOR!
